After the Harveys moved back to England in 1965, the club found a home for a few years in the Karrakatta Railway Station on the Fremantle line, in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Don Finlayson recalls the building as being cramped and basic — although they did sometimes set up a screen on the opposite platform in the evening and have a movie or slide night projecting across the railway tracks!

After only a few years, the small space and ongoing problems with vandalism (mainly broken windows) meant the club was searching for a new home.
