Donations are always gratefully accepted at the WAMRC!

If you have any old model railway related equipment that you wish to dispose of, please consider donating it to our club. We accept just about anything that is model railway related (e.g., locomotives, carriages, track, model buildings, complete layouts and so on). We can utilise donations in many ways — directly on one of our layouts, for spare parts, or simply to sell as a way of raising funds to keep the club running.

Please note however that we generally will not accept magazines or very old electrical equipment. If you are unsure, please feel free to drop us an email (email hidden; JavaScript is required) or contact us using any of the methods listed on our contact page.

Dropping Off Donations

The best way to drop off donations is when the club is open to the public. See our Visiting page for more details.

If the club is not open but the Railway Museum is (e.g., on Wednesdays outside of school holidays), donations can be left with the museum staff for passing on to us. Alternatively, see the instructions for visiting the club as a fellow modeller on our Visiting page.

Collecting Donations
